These Agencies and more are accepting help as Japan assesses their situation:

Japanese American Citzens League -- The JACL announced on March 15, 2011 that it has joined with Direct Relief International in an effort to support relief and recovery efforts in Japan.  100% of funds donated to the Japan Relief and Recovery Fund, which will be managed by Direct Relief International, will be dedicated exclusively to relief and recovery effort in Japan.  http://www.jacl.org/

Direct Relief International -- In recent years, Direct Relief has spent less than one-half of one percent of thier annual support on fundraising and less than one percent on administration. That simple math is why Direct Relief’s efficiency and expense ratings are consistently among the best in the U.S. http://www.directrelief.org/EmergencyResponse/2011/JapanEarthquakeTsunami.aspx

American Red Cross - Those who would like to help can go to
www.redcross.org and donate to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami.
